Survival by Tech

Although nothing beats good old fashioned know how, there are CPU and phone products that can be very informative. I myself have an iPhone and have found great apps for survival based info.

I've found various survival guides that have useful info, several compass apps, an app that has in depth knot tying techniques, and reference books for plant life and flora that could be of use.

Any others that anyone would like to share?

this is great for now but what happens when you need to call upon this info and there is no way to charge your phone when The Day actually comes?

That is a good question, however, some people aim to please but I can please without aiming. I don't need the connection for these apps to work. And I have enough know how to build a battery bank and will be able to charge things like phones, power tools, and anything that uses electricity.
